Pecan Pie Ice Cream Wedges with a Chocolate Shell

Pie. Ice cream. Chocolate shell. This is how you turn leftovers into applause.

20 Minutes (+Freezing Time)

0 Minutes (just melting)

Serves:

8 Wedges

Level:

Beginner

  • 1 baked & cooled pecan pie

  • 1 quart ice cream

  • 1 cup chocolate or chips

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

  • Flaky salt or toasted pecans (optional)

Ingredients

Step 1 Freeze the pie 1 hour.

Step 2 Slice ice cream into slabs; layer over pie. Freeze 30–45 minutes.

Step 3

Melt chocolate + coconut oil to make magic shell.

Step 4

Pour over frozen pie; sprinkle salt/pecans.

Step 5 Freeze 1 hour.

Instructions

  • Warm a knife to slice into wedges.
