EASY AF Lemon Spaghetti

A bright, buttery lemon spaghetti that tastes elegant and restaurant-worthy while staying incredibly simple to prepare at home.

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice

  • Zest of 2 lemons

  • 4–6 oz unsalted butter

  • 1 tbsp heavy cream

  • ½–1 cup Parmigiano Reggiano, grated

  • ½ lb dried spaghetti

  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper

  • Kosher salt (for pasta water and seasoning)

  • Reserved pasta water

Ingredients

Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti until al dente.

Step 2: In a large sauté pan, combine lemon zest, lemon juice, butter, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.

Step 3: Add cracked black pepper and stir until incorporated.

Step 4: Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water, then drain spaghetti.

Step 5: Add spaghetti to the sauté pan and toss to coat in the lemon sauce.

Step 6: Grate Parmigiano into the pasta and toss. Adjust consistency with pasta water if needed.


Instructions

Plate by twirling pasta into bowls. Finish with more Parmigiano and cracked pepper.
